Wheel Connections is a peer support group for people with spinal cord injuries living in New Jersey and the Tri-State area. Its main objective is to create a social network among spinal cord injured men and women seeking companionship, spinal cord education, resources and recreational activities. We aim to create a community of peers that offer support and long-lasting relationships. By working together we can build a strong, tight-knit network to improve stability, independence, and the quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries. | Wheel Connections will meet once a month. At each gathering, there will be time set aside for special topics to be addressed by a specialist. Afterward, members are encouraged to socialize. Visit our Activities section to learn about our meeting locations and theme. While Wheel Connections has a website, our aim is to create a live human network, not a virtual one. |
